Let our property act as a canvas for creating your wedding or special event. Heartwood Mendocino boasts multiple types of accommodations and countless places to serve as the backdrop for your special moments. Our 40 acre private parcel surrounded by 50,000 acres of state forest is a wonderful place to hold events of all types.

We love to host weddings and events that lean into celebrating with loved ones and enjoying beautiful natural surroundings in great comfort.

We embrace the concept of “slow weddings” in which family & friend groups gather for multiple days allowing plenty of time to do everything from beach walks and ocean plunges to summer camp style games and forest adventures, fireside chats & singalongs. Welcome pizza parties and send off brunches can all fit into your long weekend wedding along with the actual ceremony and reception celebrations.

Heartwood Mendocino is an inclusive, affirming wedding venue where every couple is celebrated with equal joy, care and intention. All expressions of love are welcome here.

  • One day for main event,  two nights stay for up to 25 people. 3:00 p.m. Friday to 11:00 a.m. Sunday 

    1-49 people $15,875.00

    50-100 people $16,875.00

    101-149 people $18,875.00

    150-199 people $21,875.00

    Secret Meadow may be added on as a separate ceremony, event or camping space for an additional charge of $1000

    Additional nights may be added for $2000 per night

    Personal tent, glamp company, or van camping on the property is available at $35.00 per person per night.

    Holiday weekends and larger events may require a 3 night minimum.

    *2027 rates will increase by $500.00 for events after 5/31/27

  • Full weekend or two day event: two nights 3:00 p.m. day 1 to 11:00 a.m. day 3

    25 people or fewer

    $6250.00

    Additional nights are $2000.00 per night

    Personal tent, glamp company, or van camping on the property is available at $35.00 per person per night.

    *This takeover option is not always available to book far in advance for dates during the peak wedding season.

    *2027 rates will increase by $500.00 for events after 5/31/27
